The Pike Brothers 1941 Merino USN Seaman Sweater is based on the standard garment issued to the U.S. Navy during World War II. Designed with a close-fitting cut and short collar, it was typically worn as an additional insulating layer beneath other naval uniforms. The sweater retains the construction and styling of the original design.
