The Red Wing Shoe Company has been making rugged boots for over 110 years. They designed the Iron Ranger to stand up to the harsh circumstances in Minnesota's iron mines. It is constructed out of thick harness leather that will wear in nicely and only gets better with age. It has a Vibram Mini-lug sole for excellent grip and proven reliability while maintaining a classic look. The 6" high Iron Ranger is defined by its double-layered toe, capped to protect the miner's feet back in the day. There's an external heel pocket for added support. The whole is held together with triple stitching and a Goodyear welt construction. Their iconic looks and rugged construction have made them the preferred footwear for people who put their boots through their paces. After breaking them in (give it a few days) these will be the most comfortable boots you've ever owned and the impeccable build quality means that these boots will last you a long, long time.
