It’s hard to find retro-looking riding gear suitable for the hottest of climates - classic leather is thick and heavy, usually replaced with lightweight textiles and mesh. The Storm jacket from John Doe does a phenomenal job of keeping the heritage aesthetic in a leather jacket that can stand the heat.
The outer is constructed from a premium 1.1-1.3mm thick cowhide leather that’s almost entirely perforated on the torso. This is primed to let cooling airflow through the jacket while you ride, keeping your temperature down in the heat. Fret not - there’s no sacrifice in protection here. The Storm achieves an impressive CE AAA rating, so you can rest assured and ride with confidence.
Included are CE Level 1 armour inserts at the shoulders and elbows, with a pocket for a back protector as an optional upgrade. The Storm comes in a classic, box-fit, so looks great on all riders, and the sleeves are pre-articulated for prolonged comfort on the bike.
High-quality zips, a press stud fastening at the neck, and padded leather detailing at the shoulders and elbows add character and vintage style to a rather gorgeous jacket. Designed for hot summer rides where safety, comfort, and style are all of equal importance, the John Doe Storm jacket is quite the catch.

With disruption to postal services, we are sending all orders via next day courier to ensure arrival in time for Christmas day. Choose from FedEx, DPD and DHL at checkout.
