The Arai Tour-X5, succeeding the long-standing Tour-X4, emerges as a renewed iteration aligning with the updated ECE 22:06 safety standard. As an adventure helmet designed for on-road use with off-road aesthetics, the Tour-X5 retains hallmark features such as the extended chin bar and peak.
Arai, known for crafting high-quality and protective helmets, seizes the opportunity presented by the new safety standard to enhance various aspects of the Tour-X5. The redesigned chin bar, with a more rounded shape, aims to improve 'glancing off' properties, a fundamental design principle for Arai. This modification also contributes to a flatter visor profile, enhancing optical quality. The larger visor aperture accommodates even the largest off-road goggles. Addressing concerns about peaks causing buffeting and wind noise during road riding, Arai refined the peak's aerodynamics through wind tunnel testing, featuring a distinctive large cut-out on the rear edge.
Ventilation is a key aspect of adventure helmets, and the Tour-X5 incorporates effective ventilation features, including brow-mounted logo vent, a two-position vent on the top, adjustable chin vent, and strategically positioned exhaust ports. The helmet's base has been widened for easier donning and doffing, with added recesses to accommodate speakers for communication systems. While the Tour-X5 inherits iconic status from its predecessor, it appears poised to surpass it in crucial aspects, reinforcing Arai's commitment to producing top-tier adventure helmets in the market.

With disruption to postal services, we are sending all orders via next day courier to ensure arrival in time for Christmas day. Choose from FedEx, DPD and DHL at checkout.
