Age of Glory produce some of the most desirable motorcycle lifestyle garments on the market, so it makes a lot of sense that they’d be able to extend this to protective riding gear - and boy have they delivered. The initial range of 3 distinct leather jackets are all gorgeous to wear as well as look at and are definitely worth your attention.
The intricate and stunning detailing is what makes the Kingpin stand out. Luxurious diamond-quilted padding at the shoulders and lower back is reminiscent of true vintage leather jackets worn by the ton-up boys. The gussets behind the shoulders and accordion panelling down the sides not only add to the retro vibe, but allow for a free range of movement and supreme comfort. The sturdy 0.9-1.1mm leather outer is a premium waxed cowhide with a slight vintage effect that will only get better with time.
It’s certainly not just eye-candy however, the Kingpin jacket is CE Level AA approved, so packs a punch in the protection department. CE Level 1 protection is included at the shoulders and elbows, and there is a pocket for an optional back protector if you wish to upgrade. The luscious satin lining will keep you comfortable all ride long, and adjustable straps at the wrist and waist ensure a perfect fit.
Subtle styling and a stunning finish make the Kingpin a mouth-watering prospect - suitable for anything from cruisers to cafe racers, trackers to bobbers.
