Motone have developed this simple plug and play module that will prevent your headlight from draining your motorcycle's battery before you start the engine.
From the factory many modern bikes are wired with a daytime running light that illuminates as soon as the ignition is engaged. This can become an issue when your bikes battery voltage drops and could potentially prevent the bike from starting due to the extra voltage required to keep the headlight permanently on. Installing this wiring module bypasses this feature and might just be the difference between you riding home or camping out waiting for a recovery truck.
Once installed the headlight will only illuminate when you flip the full beam switch and will turn off when you stop the engine.
The module is very simple to install as it plugs straight in between the loom and the headlight using a standard H4 connector. The small parking light is not affected by this modification.
- Suitable for any bike with H4 headlights such as Triumph Twins or Royal Enfield Interceptors.
- Fitting time is around 5 minutes.
- Note: this product may not function correctly when used with LED headlights
