The Merlin Wishaw Signature leather jacket is a prime example of what the brand stands for: refined, high-quality motorcycle gear at the right price. The Wishaw is part of the Heritage collection and that is emphasized by its understated branding and little design touches that give it a vintage look and feel.
The leather used is a premium aniline cowhide that feels soft and supple out of the box yet reassuringly weighty and thick. It is backed up by D3O shoulder and elbow armour with a pocket for optional back protection. In combination with its excellent construction quality, this has helped the Wishaw achieve a CE AA safety rating.
The jacket comes with a removable, quilted thermal liner and has zipped ventilation ports on the chest and lower back. This set-up allows you to put the Wishaw through its paces during multiple seasons across a variety of temperatures.
