For instance: the Odell is constructed of premium quality full grain cowhide. “Full grain” leather hasn’t been painted to cover the natural imperfections so the very best hides are reserved for this category. This top part of the skin is densely packed making it more resistant to abrasion. In conjunction with the Level 1 shoulder and elbow armour included, the Odell achieves an impressive CE Level AA safety rating. This jacket is perfect for warmer days thanks to the mesh lining, perforated panelling across the chest and sleeves and ventilation zips on the front and rear. You do get the added benefit of a removable thermal gilet though, should you need to start your ride on those colder mornings with the option of stowing it away as the day gets warmer later on.
