Leading the charge from the new Merlin Explorer Collection is the Monty jacket. A true classic aesthetic with a mid-length, inspired by British Motorcycling heritage, the Monty is built for those looking to ride the path less ridden. An incredibly versatile jacket that would hold its own against other top of the range touring gear, the outer is crafted from the luxurious 12oz Halley Stevensons®Scottish Silkwax cotton for a true vintage look and feel. The Monty features a removable 125g thermal liner with an attached Reissa®Active breathable and waterproof membrane, making it suitable for milder weather conditions alongside the freezing downpours where it really holds its own.
What truly sets the Monty apart from the rest is the already fitted 7-piece set of D3O L1 armour, featuring protection at the elbows, shoulders, back, and chest. This means it's primed for the high levels of protection that a lengthy adventure or tour requires. There is no shortage of storage on this jacket either - with two chest pockets, two lower patch pockets, hidden handwarmer pockets, and a large rear storage compartment, there is all the room you could possibly need for maps, compasses, or more likely your smartphone and some snacks. A YKK® jacket-to-jean connecting zipper is compatible with Merlin gear, but a euro hoop connector strap is also present so you can universally attach the jacket to your trousers, and prevent it from riding up.

With disruption to postal services, we are sending all orders via next day courier to ensure arrival in time for Christmas day. Choose from FedEx, DPD and DHL at checkout.
