Using the same DNA as the standout Mahala jacket from Merlin’s Explorer range, the revamped “Raid” is the hot weather equivalent. It maintains the rugged styling and adventurous attitude, still using the finest materials, but adds supreme levels of ventilation so you can keep cool when the heat turns up. Constructed from a combo of abrasion-resistant Cordura® cotton with DWR water repellent treatment, and large mesh panels that promote cooling airflow in the hottest of climes. Combine with the matching Mahala Raid Jacket for the ultimate warm-weather adventure get-up.
The Mahala Raid trousers are lined with a fixed lightweight and breathable mesh - this keeps the rider cool and comfortable when the temperature rises by wicking moisture away so you can stay focussed. Pre-fitted Level 1 D3O® armour at the hips and knees offer slimline impact protection in the event of a fall.
Stretch accordion panelling above the knee allows for easy articulation of the leg on and off the bike, offering top levels of comfort without distraction however long your ride is. Adjustable tabs at the calf and ankle allow for a customisable, perfect fit.
