A pure hot weather jacket, the Chigwell Lite is constructed of 8oz Cotec Tech Wax cotton, significantly lighter, and stronger, with better temperature control than standard waxed cotton, and mesh panels aplenty, promoting that essential, refreshing airflow you need in the sweltering heat.
Classic and subtle styling neatly hides a full set of D3O Level 1 armour, with impact protection at the shoulders, elbows, and back included with the jacket as standard, the Chigwell Lite has achieved an impressive CE AA rating, meaning you have that reassurance in the way of protection, despite such a lightweight garment.

- Instantly comfortable, flows great air. 0 people found this helpfulVery happy with this jacket. It was comfortable as soon as I put it in and feels great on the bike. Quality and materials seem top notch. Was actually coolish when I first rode in it so I could really feel where the air was coming through. One thing I did notice that I’d mention to Merlin; both left chest inside pockets are non-breathable materials. So essentially the whole left chest the air flow is blocked. The pocket inside the chest zipper seems to be more of a waterproof type fabric so maybe that’s what they were going for there but the lower inside chest pocket could easily be the same mesh as the rest of the jacket and be just as functional and still allow air through.
