Knox had a smash hit with the Richmond and Roseberry trousers, but they're no brand to just sit back and rest on their laurels. The Scarlet is, in many ways, the Roseberry 2.0: you still get the astonishing level of comfort the Roseberry offered, the innovative armour system that allows the knee armour to be accessed via a hidden side pocket on the outside of the jeans and the 10oz Cordura denim outer combined with an aramid fibre inner liner. The Scarlet however offers a much improved and slimmer fit than the Roseberry yet remains impressively comfortable thanks to the stretch Cordura outer. Knox also treated these jeans with a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish to make them water-resistant. The CE approved slimline armour sits at the right height and feels comfortable in place even on long rides. The jeans come in a standard 32" inch leg which suits the vast majority of riders and can be altered at the hem if necessary.
