Australian brand Jack Stillman’s reason for being is to create nostalgic designs imbued with a sense of adventure and old-fashioned charm. This is beautifully fulfilled with the Commodore Messenger Bag. Handmade from a heavy 16oz cotton canvas, the surface has been treated with beeswax for a natural protectant. Properly maintained and re-waxed, this bag will stay durable and water-repellent for years. The genuine leather straps are vegetable-tanned, hand stained and burnished for a vintage, natural finish that complements the canvas perfectly. The inner lining is a striking burnt orange cotton which helps keep things visible inside the bag.
This rugged messenger is mid to large in size and can easily carry a laptop with dimensions up to 36cm x 27cm. Ample space for the essentials on your daily commute. The side pockets can be unpopped for a larger opening. They expand into the bag, keeping the Commodore’s profile low and compact and have a drainage hole in the bottom in case of leakage or downpours. Jack Stilman have also thrown in their T-brace strap, this accessory is what makes this messenger bag the ideal choice for riders, it attaches to the cross-chest strap and secures to the bag via an extra loop point offering extra support and stopping the bag from shifting around on the move. What we love most about this bag is its versatility. The seven (nine including the D-rings) reinforced mounting straps allow you to get creative when mounting the Commodore to your bike.
