Best winter motorcycles gloves - 2019

Getting the balance right between warmth and feel on your winter motorcycle gloves can be hard to perfect. To help you make the best choice for your ride, we've picked our best autumn / winter gloves from our 2019 line up!

Electrically heated motorcycle gloves are usually incredibly bulky affairs that look like Star Trek props. The Racer Forge Urban glove, luckily, is the complete opposite. It is constructed from premium goat leather, which offers excellent abrasion resistance while being soft and supple, thus giving you plenty of feel for the controls of your bike. To the naked eye, the Forge Urban barely looks like a winter glove: It doesn't seem thick enough to see you through the depths of winter.

  • Premium goat hide outer
  • Heats the fingertips, entire length of the fingers and back of the hand
  • Waterproof Polymax membrane
  • Primaloft insulation with fleece liner
  • Up to 6 hours battery life
  • Touch-screen compatible thumb and index fingers
  • CE approved

The Rev'It! Hydra 2 H2O is an ideal glove for urban riders that persist into the colder days. Its Hydratex membrane will keep you dry while a featherlight 3M Thinsulate G-liner will trap your body heat and keep your fingers from turning into ice cubes. The outside is made from a sturdy goatskin palm combined with an abrasion-resistant PWR|Shell back. The prominent, ergonomic knuckle protector is covered with a heavy rib texture. In our opinion, this is one of the better looking cold weather gloves out there. Perfect for when you've had to put away your summer gloves but aren't ready for bulky depths-of-winter gauntlets just yet!

  • Waterproof and breathable Hydratex Z-liner
  • Protective temperfoam on fingers and palm
  • 3M Thinsulate G and polar fleece liner
  • Touch screen compatible
  • Visor wiper panel
  • CE approved

The Gerbing XR electric heated gloves are the perfect winter glove for riders who refuse to put their bike into hibernation and ride all year round. The XR is a mid-length cuffed glove and is quite a bit shorter than Gerbing's usual gauntlet-style offering. This means the gloves are a lot less bulky and will play nice with the cuffs on your jacket. They have Gerbing's new and improved Microwire Pro technology built in, heating the back of the hand, back of the fingers and fingertips, keeping your hands delightfully toasty even in the most frigid of temperatures.

  • Powered by your bike's battery (12V)
  • Heats the fingertip, entire length of the finger and back of the hand
  • 3 heat settings
  • Waterproof, windproof and breathable Hipora liner
  • Touch-screen compatible index fingers
  • CE Approved

The Barone is a full goat leather glove with a synthetic sheepskin inner. The palm has been given a microfibre lining to improve dexterity and feel for your bike's controls. Sporting a synthetic fur lining and breathable waterproof inner membrane, this glove is truly designed for the winter commuter. The gloves are also touchscreen compatible and meet the EN 13594:2015-CE safety standards for motorcycle gloves. This is achieved in part through the soft D3O armour insert located on the palm. An extra long cuff ensures that adequate wind protection is in place. A thing we don't often say about winter gloves is that they look good, but the Barone is one stylish looking number! Brass hardware and a YKK zip contrast the matt black goat hide and look pretty damn smart.

  • 100% soft goat leather
  • Synthetic sheepskin lining
  • Hydroscud: Fully waterproof and breathable inner membrane
