A lot of the brands you'll find in our shop have a rich heritage in motorcycling, and Bell is no exception. They released the world's first full-face helmet in 1963: the Bell Star. A few years later the Moto Star was released to cover the offroad market: snaps for attaching a peak were introduced and the viewport was enlarged so off-road goggles would fit nicely. Bell continued this visionary approach and in the early seventies, the legendary Moto 3 was released.
Decades later, the Moto 3 is still one of the most iconic helmets ever to see the light of day. Bell realised the potential and revived the design, keeping the gorgeous retro looks but updating the safety components and giving it a new tri-composite shell. The result is a thing to admire! We were lucky enough to be given one way before the official release, so we could test it racing at 2016's Malle Mile. The new Moto 3 does not disappoint, its unbelievably comfortable moisture-wicking lining combined with its light weight makes this one of the most comfortable helmets we've ever worn. Another bulls-eye by Bell!
