Returns Policy

Return Items 

  • We will accept returns on any item up to 30 days after purchase.
  • Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging.
  • We cannot accept returns of items that have been personalised e.g. special order Davida helmets.
  • All returns must have a completed returns form.
  • When your refund is processed, the funds will be returned to the original payment method.  If you have paid with card, we will credit the card we have on file for you.  This may take up to10 working days to appear as cleared funds.

 

 

Standard returns procedure

 

If an item does not fit or is not to your liking and you would like to return the item to us for an exchange or refund please follow the guide below: 

For exchanges or returns, please print off and fill out our returns form.  Send the item(s) back to us at the address supplied within 30 days of purchase with the returns form enclosed.

Please note that we will need the unwanted item returned to us in an unused condition and supplied with their original packaging in order to fulfil the refund or exchange.

You are responsible for ensuring that the goods are returned to us within the specified time frame and that the items arrive in suitable condition.  For this reason, we recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items so as to cover yourself against loss.

We will send you an email to confirm receipt of the returned goods within 24 hours.

 

Exchange

Where an exchange is requested we will send the replacement out once the original has been returned to us.  Once we have emailed you to confirm receipt of the goods sent back to us we will dispatch the exchange within the time frame listed for the goods on our website.  There will be a charge for shipping out an exchanged item (including orders where the original delivery was free of charge) to cover the additional costs of sending you the goods.  For smaller items like gloves the cost is £4.96.  For medium items like trousers and leg covers the cost is £5.96 and for all other items including jackets and helmets the cost is £6.96.  If you placed your original order by card we will automatically re-charge you the extra shipping, if the payment was made by Paypal, we will send you a money request for the appropriate amount.

Please note, if the goods are shipped internationally, you will also be charged for shipping again if you want to exchange the item.

 

Return for refund

  • From an order where you were charged for shipping   -   You will be refunded for the value of the individual returned item(s).
  • From an order which qualified for free shipping where the whole order is being returned   -   You will be refunded less the amount it cost us to ship the item(s) to you.*
  • From an order of multiple items which qualified for free shipping where only part of the order is being returned   -   You will be refunded for the value of the individual returned item(s). 

*For smaller items like gloves the cost is £4.96.  For medium items like trousers and leg covers the cost is £5.96 and for all other items like jackets and helmets (including multiple items) the cost is £6.96.  

Who pays the postage on returned Items?

International Returns Procedure 

Customers outside of the UK must follow the instructions below along with our standard returns procedure.  

Please note, if the goods are shipped internationally, you will be charged shipping again if you want to exchange the item. 

To help us deal with your return to us quickly and efficiently you must mark all returns as RETURNED GOODS – FAILED SALE. This must be clearly marked on the customs information document ( CN22 and/ or CN 23) on the outside of the packaging. Failure to do so may result in the goods being refused at customs in the UK and so being returned to the sender.

 

How quickly will Urban Rider process the return? 

We aim to process all returns on the day they arrive with us. Sometimes we don't manage to do them all but your return will be dealt with in two working days.

 

What happens if Urban Rider is out of stock of the replacement item? 

If we do not have stock of the requested replacement item we will contact you via the email address you have supplied
